  14. A healthy dish of skepticism was recently served up by Ross Cohen
  15. (rycohen@acsu.buffalo.edu). The critiscms were well placed and not
  16. unexpected (you gotta take the good with the bad). I just wanted to
  17. take some time to respond and let you know we're listening. Yes,
  18. surprise, we do read the newsgroups and we do hear you.

  20. I'm not going to give you a lot of condescending rhetoric because your
  21. comments deserve an honest response. I'll be as forthright as I can.

  23. The success of a platform has always depended on the developer base and
  24. user community. We all know too well what you've endured (a lot of us
  25. are ex-C= folks) and the loyalty of the Amiga developers/users has been
  26. amazing. This speaks volumes for the belief in the potential of the
  27. Amiga technology. A hardware box is nothing without good apps and we
  28. realize the crucial role played by developers.

  38. First off, I apologize for being a bit vague but things have been
  39. moving pretty quickly around here. There are a lot of deals,
  40. negotiations, and partnerships that are in the works. It would be
  41. improper (if not illegal as we are a publicly traded company) for
  42. anyone inside the company to prematurely reveal this information. I
  43. know you're hungry for information and I ask your patience. There
  44. *will* be more announcements made in the very near future, just keep an
  45. eye on our web site at http://www.vistv.com.
